Welcome to Pebble’s Privacy Policy
Hi parents! We care deeply about your family’s privacy. This policy explains how Pebble, operated by Generative Spark Inc., collects, uses, and protects information from both you and your child when you use our voice-based thought partner across web, mobile, and smart-TV apps.
If you have any questions, please reach us anytime at privacy@iampebble.com.
By using Pebble, you agree to this Privacy Policy and to our Terms and Conditions.
1. Who We Are
Pebble is a voice-based thought partner for children and parents, designed to support creativity, curiosity, and learning. The data controller responsible for your personal information is:
Generative Spark Inc.
Registered in Delaware, USA
Email: privacy@iampebble.com
2. What Information We Collect
We collect information to make Pebble work smoothly and safely for your family.
a. Information you provide
Parent information: name, email address, payment details, and any messages or conversations you have with Pebble.
Child information: name, age, and other profile details you share when setting up your child’s Pebble profile.
Audio and conversation data: voice recordings, transcripts, and generated responses from conversations between Pebble and you or your child.
Generated images: visuals created by Pebble based on your child’s or your input.
User images: images submitted by the user to Pebble to show a child’s work. Photos should be of objects, artwork, projects, or other creations — not of people. Pebble automatically screens uploaded images and rejects photos that appear to contain people; rejected images are not stored.
Support messages: if you contact us, we’ll collect your message and contact details.
b. Information collected automatically
When you use Pebble, we automatically collect:
Device and browser type
IP address and general location (not precise)
Usage data such as session time, app version, and actions taken
3. How We Use Your Information
We use your and your child’s data to:
Deliver and improve Pebble’s experiences
Enable conversations and generate responses
Personalize learning and creative experiences
Process payments and manage subscriptions
Communicate with you about updates, support, or new features
Maintain safety, security, and product quality
Comply with legal obligations (like COPPA, GDPR and GDPR-UK)
We never sell personal data. We do not use children’s personal data to train artificial intelligence or machine learning models. We only use your data to run and improve Pebble.

We share limited data with trusted partners who help us operate Pebble safely and effectively:

These partners only process data on Pebble’s behalf and must meet strict confidentiality, safety, and compliance standards. We never allow them to use data for their own marketing or profiling.
5. How Long We Keep Information
Audio recordings, transcripts, and photos of work are retained for the life of the account and deleted when the account is closed. Parents may request deletion of specific data at any time. You can review or erase your family’s data anytime by contacting privacy@iampebble.com.
If you delete your account, all related personal data is securely removed unless laws require us to keep it (for example, for payment or legal compliance).
6. How We Protect Information
We use strong technical and organizational safeguards to protect data, including:
Encrypted data storage and transfer
Access controls and authentication
Secure cloud infrastructure
Regular security reviews and monitoring
While no system can be 100% secure, we do everything possible to protect your data from loss, misuse, or unauthorized access.
7. Your Rights (Parents and Guardians)
You have the right to:
Access your data and your child’s data
Request correction of inaccurate information
Delete your or your child’s data
Withdraw consent at any time
Export data to another provider (data portability)
Complain to your local data protection authority if you’re in the UK or EU
To exercise any of these rights, please contact us at privacy@iampebble.com.
8. Children’s Privacy
For Kids: We keep your information safe. Your grown-up is in charge of your account.
We comply with the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA), GDPR and GDPR-UK.
Only parents or guardians can create an account for a child.
We collect limited information about children (like name, age, voice recordings, and creative outputs) to make Pebble work.
We use “email-plus” parental consent to verify permission before a child can use Pebble.
Parents can review, download, or delete their child’s information anytime by emailing privacy@iampebble.com or directly in the app.
We do not display, sell, or share children’s data for advertising or profiling.
Photos uploaded by children are automatically screened; images that appear to contain people are rejected and not stored.
If you believe a child has used Pebble without parental consent, contact us immediately so we can delete the account.
9. International Users
Pebble is based in the United States but serves families around the world. If you’re outside the US, your data may be processed and stored in the United States or other countries where our trusted partners operate. We apply the same protections everywhere and ensure transfers meet GDPR and GDPR-UK standards.
10. Updates to This Policy
We may occasionally update this Privacy Policy to reflect improvements or legal changes. When we do, we’ll post the new version here and update the effective date.
If major changes affect how your family’s data is used, we’ll notify you by email or in the Pebble app before they take effect.
